What To Expect For Your Appointment

Template Appointment

We use advanced laser measurement technology to create a template of your countertop area to ensure an exact fit. On the day of your Template Appointment, a Decision-Maker (e.g. homeowner) needs to be on site to meet with the Templator.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE READY:
  • Sinks (if provided by you) must be on site and in their original box with a model number.
  • All cabinets, end panels, and farmhouse sinks must be set (if applicable).
  • The cabinets or existing countertops must be fully cleared off and free of clutter.
  • Faucets, fixtures, ranges, and anything requiring a cutout must be on site and available for the Templator.

Installation Appointment

On installation day, Stone Technicians will arrive with your countertops. Normally, your installation will be completed in less than a day – even for projects that require removal of existing countertops. If your project requires a seam or seams, epoxy will be used. The Stone Technicians will use a dye kit to color match the epoxy to your countertop, and the odor of epoxy will dissipate quickly. Your counters will be ready for use as soon as the installers have finished, but plumbing cannot be connected until the next day.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE READY:
  • Sink cabinets must be cleared out.
  • A clear path for the installers to carry in your new countertops. -All appliances, except dishwasher and those above your counter such as a microhood, are removed. We can provide this service if arranged in advance or for an additional charge.
